The Role:
AsIAm is seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic, consistent and reliable Executive Assistant to provide operational and administrative assistance to the CEO in his daily activities in managing, leading and promoting AsIAm. This role is best suited to someone who can work in a rapidly evolving environment with significant demands and multitasking required. The person will be able to support a neurodivergent Chief Executive in fulfilling a broad range of duties and responsibilities in areas as diverse as governance, advocacy, media, fundraising and HR. The successful candidate will be highly flexible and will have significant relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing the CEO diary including external events and internal meetings
Playing a key role in the prioritisation of and planning of the CEO’s working activities
Liaising with relevant departments and team members on issues the CEO is involved in e.g., liaising with the Training Team on pricing and content for a conference speech / gathering information on outputs from various team members
Administering the CEO's inbox and correspondence
Supporting the CEO on projects in which they are the lead organiser such as World Autism Month events or other launches
Attending meetings with the CEO to prepare minutes and support the implementation of agreed actions
Supporting the CEO in ensuring compliance to governance requirements such as expenses claims, data back-ups and lobbying returns
Preparing briefing material for the CEO and assisting in identifying opportunities to further the organisation's agenda
Supporting the CEO with document revision and the management of sensitive and confidential files
Handling highly confidential documentation / information with discretion
Supporting the CEO in stakeholder management (e.g. identifying community members to meet / thank / send periodic messages to)
Providing support to the CEO in supporting the AsIAm Team through assisting in arranging team building activities and bulletins
Taking photographs and ensuring activities attended by the CEO are recorded for social media and promotional purposes
Supporting the CEO in their participation in a broad range of related external boards, working groups and committees
Supporting the work of the Senior Management Team
Supporting the work of the AsIAm Board and Sub-Committees
Key Requirements:
Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities Required
A relevant professional qualification or experience in a similar role
Ability to work in a pro-active manner, anticipating the business needs and requirements of the CEO
Excellent communication skills

Highly organised and efficient
Ability to adapt to a wide range of situations / challenges
Flexibility

Contract Duration:
This role is full-time and permanent
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will align with Grade IV of the HSE Consolidated Pay Scale. In addition, we offer:

Working Hours:
The role is typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility around start and finish times.
The role holder is required to have a degree of flexibility regarding working hours with the expectation of some evening and weekend work.
Location:
The role is based in AsIAm HQ in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Hybrid working options are available for this role and can be agreed with the line manager subject to the organisation’s needs.
